Biography

ILDA MASON (Ensemble) was born and raised in Panamá where she began her acting career with productions such as Peter Pan (Peter Pan), The Beauty and the Beast, A Chorus Line (Bebe) and Hello Dolly (Minnie) among others. She was a professional dancer on Panamá’s “Dancing with the Stars” (Season 2 Champion). She made her feature film debut in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story (Luz) and her Broadway debut with the same show, directed by Ivo Van Hove. TV/Film credits include appearances in “The Equalizer” (CBS) and the upcoming feature musical film Kiss of the Spider Woman. Some of her favorite theater credits are Evita (A.R.T., Shakespeare Theater Company), Come Fall in Love (The Old Globe Theater), On Your Feet! (National tour), West Side Story (Paper Mill Playhouse, Signature Theatre), Cinderella (National tour), and Legally Blonde (China tour). She’s filled with gratitude for the opportunity of telling stories on stage and onscreen, especially Latine ones like BVSC.

Martín Solá

Martín Solá

Martín Solá is a versatile actor, singer, and teacher based in New York City. His Broadway credits include How to Dance in Ohio, On Your Feet, The King and I, Coram Boy, and Baz Luhrmann’sLa Bohème. He has also established a strong connection at The Public Theater, appearing in Suzan-Lori Parks’ Plays for the Plague Year, Miss You Like Hell, Giant, Pirates of Penzance, and he was a member of the prestigious Shakespeare Lab. In addition to his Broadway and Off-Broadway work, Martín has been featured with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and has performed in numerous productions with New York City Opera and City Center Encores. Recently, Martín turned his interests to on-camera work, appearing as Father Russo in the NETFLIX series Archive 81, and guest-starring on FBI (CBS) and Law and Order SVU (NBC). During the pandemic, he wrote, directed, and starred in his first short film, May I Take It Your Plate, which earned Best Short Film and Best Actor awards at both the International Puerto Rican Heritage and the New York City Downtown Film Festivals. With over 30 years of experience, Martín has taught singing and coached actors for auditions, with many of his students performing on Broadway and in theaters across the country. He has taught at Yale University, Lafayette College, and the Institute for American Musical Theater.

Wesley Wray

Wesley Wray

Wesley Wray (Young Ibrahim) Broadway debut! BFA Musical Theatre student at the University of Michigan (class of ‘26) and proud native of Miami, Florida. Wesley is a member of the Peter London Global Dance Company, celebrated for its distinctive Afro-Caribbean movement style. Wesley’s extensive training includes studying at the Alvin Ailey School, where he honed his skills in Martha Graham, Lester Horton, and ballet techniques. He further developed his classical acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he not only performed as Amiens and Silvius in Shakespeare’s As You Like It, but also composed the music for the production. While attending Michigan, Wesley has been seen in A Chorus Line (Mike Costa), Guys and Dolls (Harry the Horse), and most recently in Shaina Taub’s Twelfth Night (Duke Orsino). His most notable film credit includes working as a stand-in for Little in the Oscar-winning film Moonlight. Wesley is thrilled to make his Broadway debut, originating a role in such a beautiful, culturally enriching production. He is deeply grateful to his community for supporting him in reaching this dream.
